Tech jobs, UCF Downtown and other economic growth drivers to watch this year

Tim Giuliani expects Orlando’s growth to be a highlight for Florida as the region continues its economic momentum this year.

The CEO of the public/private economic development group Orlando Economic Partnership said the city can continue to lead the state in job production going into 2019. He spoke during the Florida Chamber Foundation 2019 Economic Outlook & Jobs Summit on Jan. 14 in Lake Nona’s Medical City. Orange County led the state in job creation last year with more than 37,713 positions added between November 2017-November 2018.
