A $16M pivot: Orlando software firm moves from Brazil, starts over with a big payoff

Success sometimes comes primarily due to hard work and patience. And sometimes it takes relocating a company and starting all over to find success. That’s exactly what Alcyr Araujo did, and it scored his company millions in venture capital on Jan. 28.

The Brazilian entrepreneur started his learning management company Mosyle Corp. in 2012. The company provided schools with software that created an online learning platform for students and helped track progress. Although the business was a success, Araujo depended on schools to have the hardware already to implement such a platform, and that limited which schools he could work with. Read more here.
