Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman get $111.8M in contracts for local military work

Two global defense firms got big contracts from the U.S. military, building on the defense activity that started off slow this year. 

Bethesda, Md.-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) and Falls Church, Va.-based Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) were each awarded a contract with a combined value of $111.8 million, according to a Jan. 31 report by the U.S. Department of Defense. Read more here.
