Missiles & targeting pods: Lockheed, Raytheon pick up $60M worth of local defense work

More missile work is flying into Orlando as one global company and a giant joint venture landed major contracts on Feb. 28.

Global defense giant Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) won a $28.5 million contract with the U.S. Navy. The two-year agreement involves engineering services for the Trident II D5 Missile and reentry subsystems into the Common Missile Compartment for the Columbia Class and United Kingdom Dreadnought submarine programs.
