Boeing’s new $40M defense work for targeting pods to benefit Lockheed

The Boeing Co.’s decision to choose Lockheed Martin Corp.’s aircraft targeting system is bringing more work to Orlando. 

The U.S. Air Force awarded Chicago-based Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) a $40 million, three-year contract for the production of six infra-Red Search and Track Block (IRST) II Ship Sets. Work for this contract will be split between Orlando and St. Louis. Read more here.
