The Rise of the Rest Seed Fund opens registration today for it’s Orlando pitch competition event

The Rise of the Rest tour day in Orlando is on April 29 and it culminates in a pitch competition and community celebration with a fireside chat, pitch competition, and an open bar at the Cheyenne Saloon and Opera House on church Street in downtown Orlando.

During the fireside chat, you’ll hear from AOL co-founder and Revolution CEO and Chairman Steve Case, and Hillbilly Elegy author and Managing Partner at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed fund J.D. Vance on their shared vision and mission to invest in startups all across America.

During the pitch competition, eight of the top startups in Orlando will compete for a $100,000 investment from the Rise of the Rest Seed Fund. Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund is an early stage venture fund backed by three dozen iconic entrepreneurs, investors and executives such as Eric Schmidt, Jeff Bezos, Henry Kravis, Howard Schultz, Meg Whitman, Jim Breyer, John Doerr and others. Orlando pitch finalists will be revealed the week of April 1.
