VP Pence, NASA vow 2024 as date for astronauts to land on moon — by any means necessary

A fire is being lit under NASA and its contractors to return to the moon after five decades since America last did so.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence addressed the National Space Council at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, on March 26 by candidly speaking about NASA’s long-delayed Space Launch System rocket — the launch vehicle that will take astronauts to the moon and beyond —and the long talked about plans to return to the moon.
