Lockheed Martin wins $40M add-on to Apache helicopter contract

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded Lockheed Martin’s Orlando operations a $40 million modification to an existing contract.

Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) will provide the U.S. Army with modernized turret kits for Apache attack helicopters. It is not yet determined where the work will be done, but the contract was awarded to Lockheed’s Orlando operations. Work for the contract, which originally was awarded as a $1 billion contract in 2017, is expected to be completed in 2023. Read more here.
