Here’s how this downtown arts event and economic development walk together

If there is a tie between economic development and the performance stylings of the Blue Man GroupCole NeSmith would be the man to know.

The executive director of the Creative City Project Inc. is expecting the performance group that does shows at Universal Orlando Resort to join more than 1,000 artists from 140 arts organizations to take over downtown Orlando as part of the annual Immerse Orlando event. The interactive arts event on October 18-19 plans to scale up this year, including with more international performers and exhibits, as well as art installations at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts’ Seneff Arts Plaza for the first time.
