Why the Central Florida Tech Alliance failed to stay afloat

The Central Florida Tech Alliance called its financial approach unsustainable when it dissolved, but the Orlando Business Journal has learned more about why the tech group fell short.

The alliance organized events for the regional tech community. Although representatives of major tech companies in the area — like Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) and Luminar Technologies Inc. — were on its board, the alliance dissolved because its financial approach “proved to be unsustainable,” the group announced in an Oct. 8 LinkedIn post. Read more here.
