Displaced in space: Boeing, NASA hopeful despite Starliner’s complications

Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft won’t dock with the International Space Station as planned. 

The vehicle successfully launched from Cape Canaveral on Dec. 20, but it did not enter the correct orbit due to a technical issue. The uncrewed flight was the first for Starliner, meant to eventually carry astronauts to the International Space Station, but NASA officials did not indicate this will delay the progress of the Central Florida-based program.
