NASA investigation launched: How Starliner mishap will affect local space missions

A new NASA investigation will help determine if the next flight of Boeing’s Starliner spaceship will carry humans. 

Chicago-based Boeing and NASA are forming a joint investigative team to look into the issue that prevented the Starliner, a spacecraft built by The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA), from docking with the International Space Station during its inaugural test flight in December. The review, announced by NASA on Jan. 7, is key to determining if Starliner will need to complete another uncrewed flight or if it can move on to a crewed test. Read more here
