How Verizon’s 5G roll-out will rev up this local tech-forward shuttle service

The introduction of faster data processing in an Orlando community will improve performance for one of the region’s autonomous vehicle firms. 

Lake Nona announced on Jan. 9 it entered into an agreement with Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) to deploy the cellular giant’s latest technology — including the emerging 5G data network — in the Orlando community. This deployment will boost operations for Orlando-based Beep Inc., the operator of the region’s first self-driving shuttle. Read more here.
