Technology Fly me to the moon: Company with Florida ties bids on lunar lander

Another entity has launched a bid to help land humans on the moon, potentially benefiting Central Florida.

Sparks, Nevada-based Sierra Nevada Corp. and Huntsville, Alabama-based Dynetics Inc. have teamed up to bid on the NASA contract to build the Human Landing System — a craft that will land astronauts on the surface of the moon as part of the Artemis space program.
