Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX is targeting 10:54 a.m. on Jan. 24 to launch 60 satellites from Cape Canaveral. The launch — company’s third this year — is its latest move to build a constellation of satellites and provide internet service in the U.S. as early as this year.
The weather there on Jan. 24 is 80% favorable for launch, according to the 45th Weather Squadron — an Air Force unit based in Cape Canaveral. SpaceX livestreams its launches on its website. Launch dates and times can fluctuate depending on weather, technical issues and other factors. Read more here.
