Lockheed’s $473M missile deal to launch more C. Fla. work

Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) has secured a $473 million U.S. Navy contract, the Department of Defense announced Jan. 31.

The contract will bring more defense work to Brevard County, where Lockheed will perform work for the Trident II missile program. The majority of the work will take place in Denver, but 1.5% of the work will happen in Titusville and another 1.3% of the work will happen in Cape Canaveral.
