Florida coronavirus cases likely to grow, Gov. DeSantis warns, as CDC confirms 2 cases

Florida is bracing for more coronavirus infections, Gov. Ron DeSantis said, on top of the two initial cases he revealed Sunday night that were confirmed by federal health officials Monday.

DeSantis stressed that the risk to the general public is still low but also said Florida health officials are expanding the profile of people being monitored for the disease. And he issued new directives for those returning from countries with growing outbreaks of coronavirus. Read more here.
