Experiments from Adidas and the Delta Faucet company will be among those taking the final ride of SpaceX’s original cargo spacecraft on Friday, the last launch before the vehicle is retired.
The launch will be SpaceX’s 20th operational mission under a NASA contract to resupply the International Space Station, carrying 5,600 pounds of supplies and scientific payloads. The mission is scheduled to take off at 11:50 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s launch complex 40. SpaceX will have one shot at launching at that time, and if it doesn’t, a back-up window is available Saturday evening. Read more here.
