Hospital group raises $21M for startup investment

One of the region’s biggest health care providers has hauled in a large chunk of investment capital. 

Hospital operator Orlando Health Inc. raised $21.2 million for its Orlando Health Venture investment fund, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing from March 24. The fund is used by the Orlando-based nonprofit to invest in innovative health care startups, so Orlando Health likely is ready to invest in more early-stage companies. Read more here
