Lockheed wins $4.9B in defense deals with local work

Lockheed Martin Corp. closed out with March with a bang by hauling in several big contracts.  

The Bethesda, Maryland-based defense giant landed four military contracts worth a combined $4.9 billion with work in Orlando, the Department of Defense announced March 31. Those contracts mean continued work for Lockheed (NYSE: LMT), one of the region’s biggest employers, and is a sign that defense work continues despite the coronavirus pandemic. Read more here
