Coronavirus: Local manufacturer teams with GE, Ford to make medical equipment

A local ventilator producer is partnering with heavy hitters of the manufacturing and medical industries to elevate production of the critical device during the coronavirus pandemic.  

Melbourne-based Airon Corp. has licensed the design of one of its ventilator models to GE Healthcare, a subsidiary of General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE). GE Healthcare will make 50,000 ventilators in 100 days through a partnership with automaker Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F). Read more here.
