BREAKING: Aerospace firm to create 675 jobs, invest $300M in HQ move

Aircraft manufacturer Aerion Corp. will build a $300 million headquarters in Melbourne and bring hundreds of jobs to the area, the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced April 24. 

The project, which will include a global headquarters and a manufacturing facility, is known as Aerion Park. It’s a big win for the region, as it will bring 675 jobs to the area by 2026. And it adds to the collection of high-tech aerospace and manufacturing companies in Central Florida and on the Space Coast during a global economic downturn spurred by the coronavirus pandemic.
