Raytheon seeks $957M deal that would create local work

Raytheon’s push for a nearly $1 billion defense deal may mean more high-tech contract work for the area. 

Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) formed a team to bid on the $957 million U.S. Army Cyber TRIDENT contract, which requires the management of a cybersecurity training platform known as Cyber Mission Force. If the team lands the deal, most of Raytheon’s work will be done at its Orlando facility, spokesman Brad Bucher told Orlando Business Journal. Read more here.
