Forecast improves to 60% favorable ahead of SpaceX’s planed Wednesday launch of astronauts

SpaceX’s historic launch of astronauts is being threatened by something human science can’t control: stormy skies.

Forecasters at the 45th Space Wing at Patrick Air Force Base updated their assessment for the weather Tuesday, putting conditions at a 60% chance of acceptable weather for Wednesday’s planned launch at 4:33 p.m. carrying astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley. Read more here.
