3D-printing rocket firm moves forward with plans to revamp launch complex

A Los Angeles-based space company has filed construction plans to build at a Cape Canaveral launch complex so it can send 3D-printed rockets into orbit this year. 

Relativity Space plans to build a hangar and storage buildings as well as convert an existing building to a control room at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 16, according to plans filed with the state on May 28. The construction site consists of 31.02 acres around a launch site that’s been unused since 1988. Read more here
