Roughly half of all businesses fail within their first five years, but Sergio Heker’s first venture became one of the biggest commercial internet providers in the world.

Heker founded Global Enterprise Services at Princeton University and spun it off into a separate company in the 1990s, he told Orlando Business Journal. In 1994, a vice president of the nonprofit internet advocacy group Internet Society called Global Enterprise Services a “backbone of the internet.”  Read more here.
