Engineering firm CLX bounces back from pandemic-related sales plummet with new jobs. Here’s how.

As it saw the global spread of the Covid-19 virus in January and February 2020, the management team at CLX Holdings LLC adopted a strategy of “plan for the worst, hope for the best,” Director of Sales Terry Gallagher told Orlando Business Journal.

The Sanford-based engineering firm was hit with the worst. Many of the company’s clients in the theme park, air travel and sand fracking industries were devastated. CLX had booked roughly $6 million in projects in February and lost $4 million of that by March, Gallagher said.
