Lockheed Martin-backed $1.5 million cybersecurity lab to open at UCF

The University of Central Florida officially unveiled a $1.5 million, Lockheed Martin-backed cybersecurity lab Friday morning, touting the new space as a potential catalyst for the region’s science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforce.

UCF President Dale Whittaker said the 970-square-foot lab, which debuted at UCF’s Engineering I building, will be a collaboration space for those interested in cybersecurity. Read more here.
