Picture perfect: SpaceX sticks triple landing of Falcon Heavy boosters; here’s what’s next

Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX has marked another first in its books and in aerospace history: the company landed all three boosters of its powerful Falcon Heavy rocket on April 11. 

Minutes after launching from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A in Florida, two of the boosters detached from the main core and fell toward two landing pads in Cape Canaveral. Just like the Falcon Heavy’s maiden voyage in February 2018, both boosters floated in simultaneously, deployed their landing legs and touched down without a hitch. Read more here.
