Bridg joins forces with Japanese tech giant Tokyo Electron

Kissimmee-based smart sensor group Bridg and Japanese electronics and semiconductor firm Tokyo Electron Ltd. have formed a strategic partnership to develop tool and process technology — a move expected to create up to 200 high-wage jobs locally.

“They already are interested in tapping into the Central Florida workforce,” said Dan Holladay, executive director of operations and technology programs at nonprofit manufacturing and research organization Bridg, which closes the gap between the invention of technology and commercialization with its heavy focus on manufacturing. “Our job is to help companies and institutes take technologies from the lab to the map.” Read more here.
