Three contractors with ties to Central Florida have won more than $100 million in defense contracts, including a $25 million contract to build gunnery training systems for Saudi Arabia.
Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) scored a $25 million contract with U.S. Army Contracting Command to provide the Saudi government with Advanced Gunnery Training Systems, the Department of Defense announced Aug. 29. Work for the order will be performed in Orlando, where Lockheed operates two facilities, and Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2022. Read more here.
