Here’s how EA’s move to the Creative Village may affect UCF

Electronic Arts is preparing to move to downtown Orlando, which may prove beneficial to the new UCF Downtown, the shared campus between the University of Central Florida and Valencia College that opened in August.

With that presence nearby, EA’s move fits into the type of companies that UCF wants to help draw near its campuses, university interim president Thad Seymour told Orlando Business Journal. That impact, besides looking to draw spinoff activity, also may affect the school’s Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, or FIEA, which also is downtown. Read more here.
