Lockheed Martin Corp.’s Orlando operations are receiving only a slice of its recent F-35 contract, but the pie was big to begin with.
Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) has secured a $7 billion contract modification to build 114 F-35 aircraft. Four percent of the work, worth up to $280 million, will be performed in Orlando. The defense contractor will build the aircraft for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, non-Department of Defense entities and foreign military customers. Read more here.
