Land buys, job growth and a CEO shakeup were some of the local manufacturing stories Orlando Business Journal readers were most interested in during 2019.
And that’s not surprising, since the manufacturing industry plays a big role in Central Florida’s economy. The industry employs more than 59,000 people in the region, according to manufacturing trade group FloridaMakes, 4.3% of the area’s total employment.
