Orlando tech startup Yac — which raised $1.5 million last month and grabbed the attention of national venture capital firms — never was intended to be a startup, co-founder and CEO Justin Mitchell told Orlando Business Journal.
Yac — a voice collaboration tool that allows for asynchronous voice messaging for remote work teams — originally was created by Mitchell’s software development firm SoFriendly as part of a competition. But then a few chance Twitter encounters changed Yac’s trajectory. Read more here.
