UCF turns its back on Bridg. Here’s why.

The University of Central Florida has decided to end its long-term partnership with the financially struggling high-tech manufacturer Bridg amid several disputes about money and the nonprofit’s mission.

One of the reasons: Bridg, which requested $5 million from the university late last year, has made little effort to address UCF’s concerns about its business model, UCF Interim President Thad Seymour said at a Feb. 20 UCF trustees meeting.
