Why this local sports tech accelerator is a slam dunk for the region

The region has scored a new startup business accelerator that Berlin-based Lead Sports plans to launch this summer in southeast Orlando’s Lake Nona community.

While Lake Nona already is home to two established business incubators, this new program — dubbed the Lead Lake Nona Sports & Health Tech Accelerator —offers distinct qualities that will complement the existing facilities, Carol Ann Dykes Logue, site manager of the University of Central Florida’s Lake Nona business, told Orlando Business Journal. “There’s more than enough need that we all can fill together.” Read more here.
