Coronavirus prompts UCF, Orlando Health to partner on 3D printed face shields, respirators

Researchers at the University of Central Florida have taken a leading role in the race to supply health care workers with personal protective equipment to defend against coronavirus.

A team led by Jack Stubbs, director of the school’s prototype development and 3D print lab, created designs for high-volume 3D printers to produce medical face shields and N95 filtration masks. Read more here.
