Boeing secures major NASA contract for space station work in Florida

Aerospace giant Boeing this week landed an extension of its support services for the International Space Station, continuing the work the company does on Florida’s Space Coast.

Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) announced July 15 it won a four-year, $916 million contract extension to support NASA as the lead private-sector partner for the International Space Station. Chicago-based Boeing will continue supporting the orbiting station and scientific laboratory through September 2024 under the deal, providing engineering support services, resources and personnel for activities aboard the ISS.
