The University of Central Florida has cut ties with nonprofit microelectronics lab Bridg and laid off most of the facility’s staff.
The university, a primary funder of Bridg since its creation in 2014, terminated its management services agreement with Kissimmee-based Bridg on Aug. 7. As a result, Bridg’s 29 employees — who were on UCF’s payroll — were laid off Aug. 7, UCF Assistant Vice President Chad Binette told Orlando Business Journal. Read more here.
