SpaceX scrubs 1 of its back-to-back Central Florida rocket launches

SpaceX had planned to make history with back-to-back rocket launches from Cape Canaveral on Sunday. Although inclement weather interfered with that ambition, the Hawthorne, California-based aerospace company made history anyway.

The goal was to start the day with SpaceX’s 12th Starlink mission at 10:12 a.m. Eastern time from Kennedy Space Center. Then, a bit over nine hours later at 7:19 p.m., SpaceX aimed to launch its SAOCOM 1B mission from the adjacent Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Read more here.
