Osceola County narrows search to replace UCF as Bridg partner

A top choice has emerged in Osceola County’s search for a new operator of the facilities at nonprofit semiconductor lab Bridg. 

The board of county commissioners on Oct. 5 will vote on a memorandum of understanding with the unnamed company, identified in the MOU as Project Bromine. The new partner would take over for the University of Central Florida, which ended its relationship with Kissimmee-based Bridg in August, and create up to 220 jobs in the NeoCity tech district.
