Microvast to hire 100 lab managers, scientists, engineers in Seminole County

More details have been revealed regarding the 100 high-wage jobs a lithium ion battery maker will create in Central Florida.  

Seminole County commissioners on May 11 approved an agreement with Microvast Inc. to give the manufacturer $100,000 in Job Growth Incentives funds. As part of the deal, Microvast plans to buy a former dormitory at 1097 Sand Pond Road in Lake Mary to convert to a 48,500-square-foot research facility and generate dozens of jobs. Read more here
